I run across articles that say that Canadian banks are fine but I don't think they are. I think all Canadian banks are exposed to the deriviatives collapsing the financial system. I think that Canada is deeply wired into the City of London and the tyranny of that bank cartel by virtue of its historical British semi-colonial status. This status is what has kept Canada from further developing itself. My favorite example to demonstrate that lack of development (increased population density potential) is the continued lack of a trans Canada high speed rail for freight.
Canada's productivity has not kept pace with its money supply.
